Of course, we’re proud of being so close to London City Airport, but there’s so much more to do in the local area too. Spend some time in Thames Barrier Park during your stay at Metro London City Airport, which you can stroll to in around 15 minutes.
Take advantage of the DLR nearby and hop on a train to Stratford for a look around the Queen Elizabeth II Olympic Park and Westfield Stratford City. With ExCel London and the O2 Arena so close by, you’ll have concerts and conferences within easy reach too.
If you’d like to travel into Central London, you’ll find it easy to switch onto the Jubilee Line on the London Underground. This will take you to Waterloo in just 30 minutes for all the sights of the South Bank, like the London Eye, the National Theatre and the London Aquarium.
The closest station to our accommodation is London City Airport, just a couple of minutes walk away. You can take the DLR from here to explore East London and get to Stratford and Bank direct, or change onto the Jubilee Line to travel around the rest of the capital.
From the airport:
To get from London City Airport to Metro London City Airport it will only take you a few minutes to walk. Exit onto Hartmann Road and walk to your right. Take a left towards Drew Road and follow this street around until you turn right onto Drew Road. This becomes Wythes Road, where you’ll find our guest house at number 64.
